touch me
feel this stone-like skin protect my face
reflecting everything
heal me
always try to even out the waves
i’m slumbering wide awake
shades of myself reflecting bales in vain
i cut the chains which shaped this life in pain
sunrise – guiding my way through the night
when giants cry
starlight – a flood bursting out of the sky
when giants cry
people staring, pointing, laughing at my fate
i’m losing grip – a way of channeling my hate
jealousy for being closer to the sky
envy for the power, hatred, fear and lies
anger turns to lust at challenging my strength
compassion for mankind is finally condemned
up to this moment all my life was filled with dread
i snap out of control and all i see is red
shades of myself reflecting bales in vain
i cut the chains which shaped this life in pain
sunrise – guiding my way through the night
when giants cry
starlight – a flood bursting out of the sky
when giants cry
cause if you enrage me, you better watch your moves
don’t make me behave like you don’t want me to be
you go too far and i break out of my self-control
aiming all my emotions at all of you
as i regret the poison of my words
the burden of my words
touch me, always try to even out the waves
i’m slumbering wide awake
sunrise – guiding my way through the night
when giants cry
starlight – a flood bursting out of the sky
when giants cry

They played a wonderful set at Summer’s End in October 2018 which was based around this album . For me it was one of the sets of the weekend. The record is a wonderful permanent reminder of the show. Tony Honour

When you like your prog to be more beautiful and/or accessible than prog-proggy, than this is for you! Melodic as hell and yes, Peter Falconer is quite a singer! That wouldn't go half the way without the solid songs of Pat Sanders. A great combination of skills ;-) Carsten Pieper

Fantasy progressive rock is not something I'd ever thought of. Yet Foreign Land, especially the Foreign Land track itself, transported me straight into an unknown, magical fantasy world. Hakim Zulkufli
