A state of failing feelings
No decisions to be made
No somber thoughts at all
A numbing ease instead
Reflections of the past surrounding
Floating through the afterlife
Looking in an empty mirror
Slipping through a stream of light
Sleeping wide awake
Beyond expressiveness
No hope, no fear
Infinite emptiness
Struck by a ray of light
Intense feeling of grace
Empty faces staring
Caught in an endless space
I am the one, my soul still lingers on
The fire is gone, I’m just a shell alone
Breaking these chains which once held me in place
I chose to leave to look for better ways
The will to leave has turned to ash
Lady Lazarus failed to be complete
Feels like I’m caught between day and night
I’ve been exempt from my life’s speed
Spinning in circles once again
Like a black hole is consuming all I am
An endless momentum crumbling space and time
The questions in my mind will stay
All that mattered wiped away
I’m left behind and still alone
A stranger coming home
Blackness is darkening my state
The walls are getting closer now
I'm running out of time again
The pain of salvation hurts somehow
My fate until the end of time
Became the nightmare that I am
At last it’s me who wants to be untied
I am the one, my soul still lingers on
The fire is gone, I’m just a shell alone
Breaking these chains which once held me in place
I chose to leave to look for better ways
The questions in my mind will stay
all that mattered wiped away
I'm left behind and still alone
A stranger coming home
III: Balance
The rain of clarity pours down
A sudden ray of hope leads me now
A long way I walked to find myself again
A voice that whispers in my ear
Bringing order to my deepest fears
Hello my friend, I’ve waited all this time for you
The balance in my mind
A truth which I once hoped to find
Has always been inside of me
Untied these chains and now I'm free
A leap into the great unknown
My deepest wish had finally shown
An endless road led finally out into the light
The balance in my mind
A truth which I once hoped to find
Has always been inside of me
Untied these chains and now I'm free
IV: A Stranger Coming Home
Dream or reality, a sleep without awakening?
It's time to leave this place and spread my wings
My darkness left behind, I’m ready for the last goodbye
A burden lifted off, like giants cry
I’m waking up, the dawn of a new day
Given all of this, the end of my decay
Contemplation for a chance to start it all again
A way to learn to become my own friend
All my Tears turn to dust, sparkling in the summer sun
Step out into the light, all coldness gone
I’m breaking out, the dawn of a new day
Given all of this, the end of my decay
I’m leaving now, the dawn of a new day
Given all of this, the end of my decay
V: Kaleidoscope
VI: Letting Go
I am the one, my soul still lingers on
The fire still burns, I’m not a shell alone
Breaking these chains which once held me in place
I chose to leave to look for better days
The questions in my mind will stay
all that mattered wiped away
I'm left behind and still alone
A stranger coming home

BBT are standard bearers for modern prog, with a sound that evokes the spirit of those legendary 70s bands whilst managing to also be thoroughly contemporary. It's astonishing that over 30 minutes of music of this quality, with such high production values, is being made available for free - and their full albums are also very reasonably priced... Fantasy progressive rock is not something I'd ever thought of. Yet Foreign Land, especially the Foreign Land track itself, transported me straight into an unknown, magical fantasy world. Hakim Zulkufli

This album is a dramatic way to say, that a relationship is over, every title has i's own charme, but the title track is superb!
